Dr. Darryl Moffett founded Teton Retinal Institute in 1993 with the goal of providing highly specialized care for retinal disorders in a truly caring and compassionate environment.
Dr. Moffett has invested in the latest technologies available to diagnose and treat a wide range of retinal diseases. These innovative tools include Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), which essentially provides a CT scan of the retina. OCT technology allows Dr. Moffett to obtain images of the retina at a resolution of 4-5 microns (millions of a meter). The incredible detail that these images provide has helped him achieve even more accurate diagnoses of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and other serious eye diseases.
Dr. Moffett also provides a number of other leading diagnostic technologies, including:
- Computerized fluorescein and ICG angiography using either traditional or ultra-wide field technology
- Radiographic and ultrasonographic ophthalmic imaging
- Visual field testing and analysis
Once Dr. Moffett pinpoints the source of the problem, he will thoroughly explain all recommendations and design a customized treatment plan to meet the patient’s individual needs.
