Darryl G. Moffett, MD is the founder and medical director of Teton Retinal Institute. A board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist with over 25 years of experience, Dr. Moffett has treated more than 25,000 cases of macular degeneration, 5,000 cases of diabetic retinopathy and 1,000 retinal tears. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation among referring physicians and patients alike.

Dr. Moffett is proud to provide some of the most advanced, comprehensive and personalized retinal treatments available anywhere. Dr. Moffett offers expertise in every aspect of retinal diseases and treatment except hospital-based surgery.

By reviewing 200 scientific articles each year and having logged 1,000 hours of continuing medical education since finishing his fellowship, Dr. Moffett maintains cutting edge experience, techniques, and knowledge of all aspects of retinal diseases.

Dr. Moffett continues to meet and surpass the American board of ophthalmology or ABO certification requirements, having scored far above the 78% national average, at the 2017 recertification exam.

Additionally, he is fully compliant with all government requirements. In fact, he scored 100% on the new, rigorous federal government quality program, MIPS, in 2017.

Dr. Moffett specializes in diagnosis and treatment of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, circulatory problems of the retina, retinal tears, uveitis or ocular inflammation, and inherited retinal diseases.
